Kim has history working in school based, private practice and in a OMHC(out patient mental health clinic) and during this time I have seen a lot of different clients based on age, race, SES, gender and have developed my approach to therapy based on this. Self pay Rates: $225 for initial Psychosocial. $150 for a 60 minute session, $120 for a 45 minute session and $70 for a 30 minute session. Please reach out for scheduling.
Initial session will begin with a comprehensive psychosocial assessment in which you will provide a full history, exploring emotions, areas of distress as well as strengths. During future appointments you will be meeting one on one with a therapist during a specific schedule time, for the schedule time frame to work through the reasons you initially came to therapy. Time will be spent identifying treatment goals, providing coping skills and processing/improving the distressing symptoms.
Initial session will be a comprehensive psychosocial assessment in which providing a history of the family, exploring areas of success as well as areas for improvement within the family, and exploring family of orgins. During future appointments you will be meeting together with the therapist during a specific schedule time, for the schedule time frame to work through the reasons you initially came to therapy. Time will be spent identifying treatment goals, providing coping skills and working through the family dynamics that are concerning. We also want to celebrate the wins!

CBT: Congitive behavioral therapy. The theory with this approach is that we change the negative self-talk/view of a situation. One aspect of this approach is to work on thought reframing. ACT: Acceptance and Committment Therapy, it allows you to accept the current emotions/feelings without the feelings of judgement so you can move through the healing process.
